Cottage Style Home Decorating: 10 Tips for a Cozy Cottage Style Home Office

Would you rather have a comfortable office style house to house instead of a chair with a blue industrial and metal filing cabinets? My 10 tips will get you started.

1. Bright White. Paint your old brown wooden desk and wooden chair with a white satin finish paint. It will brighten up your room immediately, and the satin finish is more durable and easier to clean than flat paint.

2. Chair of the House. Buy a double sheet and pillow case in the press preferred style cottage. Put the pillow on the back of a normal office chair style (the kind without arms). Fold the paper into a square and place it on the seat. Both can be easily removed for washing.

3. Creative containers. Look through your kitchen cabinets to find all the beautiful containers to hold pens, markers, scissors, stamps, mugs, etc., and small jugs work well.

4. Regard carpet. Buy a colorful carpet of cotton to spruce up the floor and add color happy.

5. Rather than paint. Paint your walls your favorite color. The color is important for the productivity as well as calm.

6. Faux files. Consider painting your cabinet wood with paint and ½ water and ½ applied with a soft cloth. Filing of metal can be taken to a body shop and painted with a beautiful color.

7. Art Smart. Hang a bit 'of your favorite art in your office for fun. Frame old greeting cards or artwork of your children for a quick fix dollarwise. Aim certificates in frames favorites.

8. Project it. Hide your copier, fax and other office equipment behind a white screen shutters when not in use.

9. Lamp Luster. Buy a cheap floral lampshade for an old lamp you already have.

10. Flower Finesse. Buy fresh flowers for your home office to add joy and happiness while you work. I bought a fresh bouquet at the supermarket today for just € 4.99.
