How does a fingerprint reader
Has this ever happened to you? There was a website in a few weeks and just can not remember the password, and now you have to go back through your email and fish it out. Or, do this big no no of security? Use the same username and password for every website and application is possible.
It 's time to try a password stored fingerprint reader. Basically all consumer finger print readers work the same way you install the software and connect your digital device. You can then install the fingerprint reader into an available USB port, scan your finger (usually the right index finger), and now as you surf the web the software will ask if you want to store the user id and password associated with this site.
Now the fun part, once you visit the site again in the future all you have to do is place your finger on the reader and fills in those pesky user id and password for you. There is no need to forget, or never use the same password again.
How it works?
Before you begin you should know that this technology exists because we all have our own piece uniquely identifiable information, our fingerprints. While our predecessors did not develop this adaptation for password protection, more for the taking and detention, is a pleasant side effect. Since each set of fingerprints in developed countries in its own way through thousands if not millions of environmental factors there is almost no chance that anyone has ever had or ever will have had the same impression as you, even if you're an identical twin.
So now the fingerprint reader only needs to scan your finger and make sure that all the ridges of the match, sounds good easy? Well, it takes a bit 'of everything technology to make it work. First, the scanner uses an optical scanner or or the ability to take a "snapshot" of the finger using light or electricity respectable.
Then "read" if what you're looking at is a ridge or valley and uses your computer processing power to compare the impression gained from fingerprints on file, setup in your system. They do this by using complex algorithms and focus on the parts very real purpose of your fingerprint and comparing the characteristics called minutiae.
The scanner does not take fingerprints entire balance when you make a game, but only needs to find some parts that match both the minutiae and the record of the print to file. Once the threshold is reached batches of voila you have access to that password protected page you wanted and you do not even need to think about .......
