Top 5 on-page Search Engine Optimization Strategies

I know that one of the most rewarding things you can do is to build a web page and see it rank well on the Internet, especially search engines like Google, Yahoo or MSN. Most internet newbies are absolutely thrilled when I finally see one of their web pages rank well. To rank well there are a whole series of questions that you need to look that includes both on-page optimization and off-page optimization strategies.

The main strategies we see today in this article are on-page optimization strategies search engine. In reality, most on-page search engine optimization strategies will make only small changes in the positioning, but any small change add up to major changes.

There are five key elements required to look for the on-page optimization of the search engine.

Item # 1 - Use keywords in your Title Meta Data

One of the most important things you can do when it comes to on-page optimization is to use the target keywords in the title. For example, if the page is about home loans in Florida, then you need to put your title in the keywords "home loans" or "Florida Florida Investment Property Loans".

Item # 2 - use keywords in the metadata

While many search engines like Google, Yahoo and MSN can not use the Meta Description tag and Meta tag keywords, other smaller search engines still do not use this information and why you should make sure that you still use these meta tags. You must also make sure to use keywords in meta tags and keywords, and be sure to use keywords in the meta description tag.

Following that make sure that when you choose keywords for a web page using only one or two keywords on the page. From experience we found that the attempt to use more than two keywords in a page does not work and can not in good search engine positions.

I had a few customers to build, to speak with me this week to help build more effective websites and found their site builders had used the previous general keywords that were never going to rank well. In fact it was discovered that a site developer had five other construction companies in his barn and was its highest client customization fee to be ranked well and the rest were rated badly.

Ninety-nine percent of the problem with the site was that their web pages were developed using generalized words that would bring in quality traffic. The key words which, like the paying customers were more site-specific terms used, but on his site that used terms such as houses, home, builder, etc. This means that our customers would never in a million years to rank well. In addition to this, even if they did well most of their traffic ranking would be irrelevant since only the construction of houses in Australia and in particular North Queensland.

Keywords used in web pages - Item # 3

All major search engines look at the material on each of your web pages and assesses the quality and the ranking is based on that quality. If your pages are not targeted to a specific question then your web page does not classify well. Your key objective in creating a website is to target your website for your clients and then optimize the page for the keywords your customers use to find that page.

To make your web pages relevant, you must include the keywords your customers are using their web pages. In that search engines will help you get that message when professionally develop a web page that we use keywords of our clients are looking for customers, but ensure that we only have a keyword density between 2 and 6 percent. No more of this, your customers are going to consider using high pressure tactics and more so, search engines called keyword spamming and that can cost you big time.

In fact, you may have and your site banned.

Item # 4 - Use keywords in the title on the webpage

We talked about keywords in the Meta Data of the title but I also recommend that you use keywords in web page title, plus the end of the web page. When using HTML, the easiest way to make your standout titles, set your own title in a format H1. If you are not familiar with this H1 is a standard HTML format.

Item # 5 - Use keywords in your page name

One of the most misunderstood people when creating their web page does not do is to use the keywords of the web pages the name of their web pages.
