What is Teflon?


Teflon is a material created by chemist Roy Plunkett at mid-twentieth century, widely used in a large number of industries and also in gastronomy.

In the kitchen, Teflon is used to cover items such as pans or pots, because of its large non-stick property. With him, it is virtually impossible for a preparation is sticking to the pan or pot, making it ideal not only for cooking but also to then wash the item.
